Premium Payment Options

Most health insurance carriers in California allow payment by credit card in addition to checks for individual policies. Your monthly options include having the money deducted from your credit card, checking or savings account.

You can make monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly payments. Keep in mind many companies will allow monthly payments only when there is a direct debit authorization in place. A few companies allow monthly billing for an extra $5-$10 fee.

You cannot lock-in your premium by paying it in advance. Advanced payments will not save you any money if your insurance rate goes up due to change in age or price increases.

We recommend using the direct monthly from checking, saving or credit card since you do not have to worry about late payments and other related stress. A few of our clients earn miles or points by letting the insurance company deduct the premium from their credit cards.
